Supercritical Fluid Chromatography
Prochrom® Supersep systems are ideal for any chiral resolution, complex mixture purification or natural extract isolation. These provide solutions for greener, faster and cost-effective separations using Supercritical Fluid chromatography (SFC) principle.
Features
- The use of supercritical CO2 decreases the amount of organic solvent required by 5 to 20 fold
- Its unique CO2 recycling technology reduces CO2 consumption by up to 20 times, allowing you to drastically reduce both production costs and environmental impact
- Scalable and fast solution
- Stable, repeatable and robust process
- Industrial programmable logic controller (PLC) equipped with PC interface with validated software based on GAMP 5 and compliant with 21 CFR part 11
SFC offering includes
- Prochrom® SFC columns
- Prochrom® Supersep chromatography systems
1. Prochrom® SFC columns
Fully automated Hipersep HPLC systems are designed for process development, pilot-scale and production-scale chromatographic separations.
Features
- Preparative chromatography columns adapted to the high pressure requirement of SFC and based on Prochrom® DAC (Dynamic Axial Compression) technology
- The DAC system consists of a piston which maintains a dynamic axial compression on the stationary phase. This provides packing with an optimum bed density and stability ensuring an efficient separation, easy and direct scale-up and a consistent performance at any scale of production and over extended periods of time
